BACK2008 Smiles for Sarah Volleyball Tournament
| The Whisper Foundation, LLC held the first annual Smiles for Sarah Volleyball Tournament at Capt'n Bills Backyard Grill on Saturday May 31, 2008. The event was a huge success especially since the entire coordination took place in less than forty-five days. We had so much excitement that we had support from Janis Netherlands from Duke Children's Hospital. Furthermore, Max Winitz from WECT-6 Wilmington even came out and did interviews during the event. We would like to thank all of the participants for coming out to support the cause. In addition, we would like to pay respect to all of the companies and personal volunteers for their involvement. We had such a great time that we decided to do it again in 2009. The event will be bigger and better so put it on your calander. Lastly, we want to give a special thanks to Capt'n Bills Backyard Grill for their loyalty and generosity. John and Erin Musser are tremendous hosts and Debby Shaw is a professional with her event planning skills. |
